Community Guidelines
Last updated: 15 October 2026 · Version 1
BRINXO’s community features — the chat, Group Battles, friends and player profiles — are for friendly competition. These rules apply to everything other players can see: messages, usernames, display names and how you play. They are part of our Terms of Service.
Who can chat
You need a free BRINXO profile with a username, and you must be 13 or older to use the chat. Before your first message we ask you to accept these rules and the year you were born; we keep only whether you are old enough, not the year. Players under 13 can still play every game mode, Group Battles with friends and the Daily Challenge — just not the chat. The chat is not available in every version of the game.
The rules
- Be kind. No harassment, bullying, insults, threats or encouraging anyone to hurt themselves.
- No hate. Nothing that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Keep it clean. No sexual content of any kind — and never anything that sexualises children.
- Stay private. Don’t share your — or anyone else’s — real name, address, school, phone number, e-mail address or social media accounts, and don’t ask others for theirs. Don’t try to move conversations to other apps.
- No scams. Never ask for or share passwords, one-time codes, card or bank details, or money. BRINXO staff will never ask for them.
- No spam or ads. No links, advertising, repeated messages, or flooding the chat.
- Be yourself. Don’t pretend to be another player, a celebrity, or BRINXO staff.
- Play fair. No cheating, bots, automated play, exploiting bugs, or using several accounts to win rewards. Don’t sell or advertise cheats.
- Don’t get around a block or a mute, the filters or a suspension, for example with spelling tricks or a new account.
Staying safe
- Anyone you meet in the chat is a stranger. Don’t share personal information.
- If someone makes you uncomfortable, use Block, then Report.
- Talk to a parent, guardian or someone you trust if anything worries you.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Your tools
- Report any message or player (tap ⋯ next to a message, or open their profile). The person you report is never told who reported them.
- Block a player: you won’t see their messages, they can’t add you as a friend or join private rooms with you. Unblock any time under Friends.
- Mute a player to hide their messages on your device only.
How we moderate
Messages are checked automatically before they appear: links, contact details, offensive words and spam are refused, and some messages are posted but flagged for a moderator to look at. Automatic checks make mistakes both ways, so people review reports and flagged messages. Depending on what happened, a moderator may:
- remove a message;
- send you a warning;
- mute you in the chat for a while (from minutes to seven days);
- suspend you from the chat and Group Battles;
- take back a battle result or rewards gained unfairly;
- in serious or repeated cases, suspend your account.
Sending several refused messages in a short time mutes you automatically for 10 minutes. We don’t permanently suspend anyone on the strength of a single unchecked report or an automatic flag alone.
Disagreeing with a decision
If you think we got it wrong, write to support@brinxo.online from the e-mail address of your account, with your username and what happened. A person will review it and reply.
Changes
We may update these guidelines. When the rules change in a way that matters, the game asks you to accept them again before you chat.
